Helen S. Neal Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen S. Neal of Germantown, Maryland, who passed away on December 25, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Constantine Smiy and Mary Smiy Capar; her husband Edgar Neal; her siblings, Mary Yaksic, Paul Smiy, William Smiy and Nicholas Smiy; and her stepfather Steve Capar.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Neal (Sheila) of Cudjoe Key, FL and Robert Neal (Andrea) of Virginia Beach, VA; and her grandchildren, Amber Neal and Matthew Neal. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Church of the Ascension in Gaithersburg, MD in her name.
