She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Ira Deward Porterfield and Allene Louise Porterfield; and her sister Karen Livingston. She is survived by: her siblings, Lewis Porterfield of St. Helena, SC, David Porterfield of Norman, OK and Margaret Porterfield of Southern Pines, NC.. She is also survived by nephew and many cousins.
