He was predeceased by: his father T. J. Hawkins; and his wife Nancy Hawkins of Melcroft, PA. He is survived by: his mother Betty Hawkins (Dull); and his children, Pam Hamlin (Ed), Greg Hawkins (Tracey) and Steve Hawkins (Brie). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gideon Bible Society.
