He was predeceased by: his siblings, Millar Stamper, Fred Workman, Charles Workman, Jackie Workman and Tonda Callaway.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Workman; his children, Teresa A. Martin, Ronald Jr. and Cindy L. Zimmerli; his siblings, Rick Workman and Darlene Maynard; his grandchildren, Kayla Virgin, Richard Zimmerli Jr., Tiffani Zimmerli, Jacob Martin and William Workman; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Virgin and Adelyn Virginia.

A reception was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory (1411 Annapolis Rd, Odenton, MD 21113). A committal service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Epiphany Episcopal Church Cemetery (1419 Odenton Rd, Odenton, MD 21113).
