She was predeceased by: her daughter Michelle Ann Ripley. She is survived by: her parents, Frank Thombs and Violet Miller; her children, Margaret Mary Wilkerson, Joseph Ripley and Denise McDonald (Jay McDonald); and her grandchildren, Dara, Christopher, Jacob, Ryan and Hailey.

In Lieu of flowers a donation in Margaret Ripley's name may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake in Pasadena, Maryland.
