He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Cornelsen; his children, Rhonda Cornelsen and Robert Cornelsen; his granddaughters, Suzanne Pecoraro and Kristen Cornelsen; and his sister Edith Grund.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Washington Adventist Hospital.
