He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Junior Hoover and Sarah Elizabeth Ridgley; and his children, Jessica, Phillip, Kathryn, James and Joy. He was also cherished by his wife, children, seven grandchildren, and sister.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Epiphany Episcopal Church (1417 Old Odenton Road, Odenton, MD 21113).
In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations be made to the Purple Heart Foundation, an organization Dennis supported.
