He was predeceased by: his wife Teresa Marie Nixon; and his siblings, James Nixon and Mary Nixon. He is survived by: his children, Jude Ann Snyder (Jeff), Richard Nixon, Jennifer Holson, Lisa Charlson and Angela Pycha (Mike); his grandchildren, Jason Snyder (Kelcy), Julie Snyder, Justin Nixon, Jay Nixon (Meghan), Nicholas Holson, Joseph Holson, Lauren Holson (Justin Cox), Eric Holson, Dean Charlson, Owen Pycha (Emily) and Olivia Pycha; his great grandchildren, Emma Snyder, Caleb Snyder, Evie Nixon, Vale Nixon, Amelia Rafter, Penelope Cox and Easton Cox; and his sister Elizabeth Parness.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bell Branch Sda Church (2365 Bell Branch Rd, Gambrills, MD 21054).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the St. Jude's Hospital for Children.
