With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald L. Hankel (Gaithersburg, Maryland), born in Derwood, Maryland, who passed away on January 27, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Elaine Hankel (French). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hankel (Marchi); his daughters, Brenda Brown (Chris) and Susan Riccio (Hankel); his grandchildren, Tyler Brown (Kayt), Jessie Bailey (Luke) and Ethan Riccio; his great grandchildren, Colt and Mason Brown; his sister Carol Henderson (Tony Lewandowski); and his sister-in-law Anita Pendergraph. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
