She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Herman and Lena Herman; her husband John Richard Howe; her siblings, Irene Maynard, Sylvia Herman, Dorothy Johnson, Barbara Marshall and Clifford Herman; and her niece Kathleen Calkins.
She is survived by: her children, John Howe (Trish) and Amy Geisel (Guy); her grandchildren, Justin, Andrew, Jessica Howe, Hunter, Forrest Geisel, Melinda Robinson Pamela (Doug) and Carson Kaiser; and her great grandchildren, Lily and Owen.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to The American Brain Foundation, a highly rated organization where researchers study to find ways to fight brain disease, which ultimately both Patricia and John died from.
