The memory of Neftali Funes of Gaithersburg, Maryland, who passed away on January 23, 2025 at the age of 74, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, Neftali shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Neftali farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Esteban Mira Lopez and Lucila Funes. He is survived by: his wife Maria Luisa Funes; and his children, Jorge (Yudy), Karina, Wilbert (Kattia), Erika and Karla (Herbert). He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his brother, sisters, nieces, nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (201 S Frederick Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20877).
