With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael George Abretski of Gaithersburg, Maryland, born in Coupon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 14, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Abretski and Delsie Jenkins (Dixon); his wife Marjorie Ann Abretski; his son Stanley Paul Abretski; and his siblings, Gloria "Irene" Lee, Junior, Thomas, Theodore, Chalmers Jenkins and Paul Abretski.
He is survived by: his children, Michele Cooley (Frank) of Gaithersburg, MD, Michael J. Abretski of Gaithersburg, MD and Diane Trammell (Scott) of Ijamsville, MD.; his grandchildren, Michael W. Abretski (Bekah Rundall) of New Cumberland, PA, Erin Abretski of Gaithersburg, MD, Joseph Abretski (Maxine) of Richmond, VA, Jessica Labay (Sufyan) of Walkersville, MD, David Abretski (Laken) of Sterling, VA and Benjamin Trammell of Grantsville, MD; and his great grandchildren, Lily Rose Labay and Jace Abretski. He is also survived by cousin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
