She was predeceased by: her parents, Willem Levelt and Josephina Berger. She is survived by: her husband Jan V. Sengers; her children, Rachel, Arjan (Lynn), Maarten (Melissa) and Phoebe (Thorsten); and her grandchildren, Christiaan, Alies, Netta, Ana and Tova.
