She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Fox and Wilda Fox; her siblings, Jim Fox (Jim) and Joanie Fox (Joanie); and her niece Darlene Garrison of Heaven's Gate.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Butler; her daughters, Sherry Pontell, Trisha Nupp and Jerri Collins; her grandchildren, Kayla Brooks, Spencer Pontell, Carly Plotkin, Travis Nupp, Trevor Nupp, Grace Pontell, Hallie Pontell, Trenton Nupp, Dayton Collins, Logan Pontell and Lucy Collins; her brother Jerry Lee Fox; and also, Michael Pontell and Frank Nupp. She is also survived by her many sisters-in-law, as well as her brothers-in-law.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Hampshire View Baptist Church (360 Ednor Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20905). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Anderson and Bethel Cemetery (243 Sugar Run Rd, Littleton, WV 26581). A reception was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Home of Sherry and Michael Pontell.
