He is survived by: his wife Mary; his brother Jack (Diana); and his children, Mary (Patrick), Joan (Mark), James (Colleen), Anne (John), Patty (John), Sharon (Joe), Karen (John), Amy (Jeff), Maggie (Tim) and Dan. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 16 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.
