George Edward Vinson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Edward Vinson of Gaithersburg, Maryland, born in Newburgh, New York, who passed away on October 29, 2024 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Edward Vinson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Vinson and Rebecca Vinson (Weygant); and his brother Richard F. Vinson, II. He is survived by: his spouse Chikako Kowaki Vinson; his daughters, Georjean Lipovsky (Joseph) and Patricia Woodwell (David); his grandchildren, Stephen Lipovsky (Jenny), Andrew Lipovsky, Catherine Lipovsky-Durkee (Philip), Nicholas Lipovsky and Christopher Woodwell; and his great grandchildren, Annelise Lipovsky, Charlotte Lipovsky and Evan Durkee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the DeVol Funeral Home - Maryland (10 E Deer Park Dr, Gaithersburg, MD 20877). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
