Edwin Becraft Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edwin Becraft (Gaithersburg, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 12, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Pop-Pop; his sons, Ed and Jeff; his parent Clarence Edward Becraft; his grandfather Clarence Edward Becraft; his sister Barbara Becraft; his wife June Elizabeth Becraft; and his great grandchildren, James, Henry, Luke, Eleanor, Emerson, Levi and Caleb. He was also cherished by the five grandchildren.
He eventually became Executive Vice President of Glen Construction and in 2012, the American Subcontractors Association of Metro Washington honored him with the Arthur C. Meushaw Award (lifetime achievement) for his significant contribution to the construction industry throughout his career.
