He was predeceased by: his parents, Pho Thinh Cuong and Hoang Thi Sam. He is survived by: his wife Pho Thi Mai; his daughter Pho Hoang Tu-Anh; his grandson Walat Pho Maximilian; his brother Pho Hoang Nghia (Pho Anh Tuyet); his nieces and nephews, Nam, Huy, Minh and Tung; his brother Pho Hoang Tri (Vu Thuy Tran); his nieces and nephews, Lien and Tuan; and his siblings, Pho Hoang Tin (Nguyen Thi Ninh) and Pho Hoang Nhung (Norman Fritsche).
