He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Luen Ashby Jr. and Grace Violet Ashby (Seitz); his brothers, Robert and Charles III; and his nephews, Brian and Bradley.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; and his son David Lewis.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the DeVol Funeral Home - Maryland (10 E Deer Park Dr, Gaithersburg, MD 20877).
