Van Petten (Gaithersburg, Maryland), born in Takoma Park, Maryland, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Petten and Barbara Van Petten; and his stepbrother Bruce Woodfield. He is survived by: his wife Mary Van Petten; his daughter Anne Cover; his grandchildren, Isaiah, Amy, Melanie and Madison; his sisters, Sue Z. Van Petten of Prescott, AZ and Mary Beth Shaub of North Potomac, MD; and his stepbrother Douglas Woodfield of Tom's River, NJ.
