“Dear Ellen and Lauren -- Your Dad was one of my best friends in Madison. He had a great sense of humor and I enjoyed his company. We often walked to work together. I remember a bunch of us "performing" songs from The Music Man in your living room. I was very glad Byron and I connected in the last year. We had some great phone conversations. He kept me informed of his situation and how each of you and his grand son were doing. Glad he found the River Rd. Church. I miss him. Bob Patrick””
