Anita Frank Payson Obituary
We bid farewell to Anita Frank Payson of Gaithersburg, Maryland, born in Berlin, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 5, 2025 at the age of 98. Anita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley A. Frank; and her parents, Trude and Martin. She is survived by: her children, Harry, Linda (Mitchell) and Barbara (Spencer); and her grandchildren, Jonathan, Nathaniel, Melissa (Tim), Shannon (Rodrigo), Kelly (PJ), Brian (Jenni), Amanda (Jeff), Stephen (Kerrie) and Nicole (Jeremy). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Remembrance Chapel (14321 Comus Rd, Clarksburg, MD 20871). A shiva was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 and on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Hornstein Residence. In her later years, Anita lived in Florida before moving to Gaithersburg during the COVID pandemic in order to be closer to family.
