In loving memory of Howard E. Patterson of Funkstown, Maryland, who departed this world on April 14, 2025 at the age of 94. Howard E. leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard E. Patterson, Sr. and Catherine T. Patterson (Schneider); his son Howard Patterson; his stepdaughter Terri Weygant; and his siblings, William Patterson and Margaret Buschman.
He is survived by: his sons, David Patterson and Paul Patterson; his stepchildren, Brenda M. Hebb, Karen Y. LeMaster, Vickie Bradley, Patti Dixon, Darrell L. Ecton and Kenny Prime; his close friend Pat; and his stepson Randy Moats. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rest Haven Funeral Home (1601 Pennsylvania Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in "Pappys" name to, St. Peters Lutheran Church, 53 N. Main St., Keedysville, MD 21756 or to the Korean War Veterans Association, P.O.Box 868, Funkstown, MD 21734.
