He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Black, Sr. and Priscilla Goslee Black. He is survived by: his wife Bernice Black; his sons, Lester L. Black Smith (Sheila), Brian Black and Lamar Jackson; his siblings, David Black, Walter Black, Jr. (Claradine) and Pearlean White (Warren); and his sister-in-law Clementine Black. He is also survived by three grandchildren; several nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
