He was predeceased by: his parent John E. Phillips, Sr.; and his brother James A. Phillips. He is survived by: his parent Dorothy I. Phillips Hudson; his stepfather John C. Hudson of Bradenton, FL.; his siblings, John E. Phillips, Jr. (Sharon) and Sharon Lee Quillen (Chuck) of Georgetown; and his half-sister Sylvia Brohawn (John) of Laurel, DE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
