He was predeceased by : his parents, William Godfrey and Annie Godfrey; his wife Nellie Ann Godfrey; his daughter Brenda Parker; and his brother Clifton Godfrey.
He is survived by : his son Gary Godfrey; and his grandchildren, Garrett and Brittany Parker. He is also survived by great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
