She was predeceased by: her parents, John Coulter and Florence "Etoy" Coulter; her former husband Roger Purcell, Sr.; her husband Elmo "Tommy" Parker Butler; and her sons-in-law, Benny Dickerson and Donald Lokey, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Payne (Barry), Linda Dickerson, Roger "Butch" Purcell, Jr. (Dee) and Pam Catlin (Gary). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
