He is survived by: his wife Gladys Martha Snelson (Coddington); his son William Snelson, Jr. (Debra); his brothers, Ken Snelson (Joyce) of Meyersdale, PA, Rick Snelson (Patty) of Meyersdale, PA and Gary Snelson of Springs, PA; his grandchildren, David Snelson, Courtney, Dakota, James, Laura Ann and Elizabeth Wassell; and his great grandchild Grady Charles Snelson.
