He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl August and Mary Ellen Tribut; his former wife Virginia Yonker; his wife Elizabeth Anne Lancaster; and his brother Carl August Tribut.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Ann Hodgdon (Lance), Lindy Catherman (Darlene), Steven Catherman (Stacie) and Greencastle; his grandchildren, Dana Noelle Hodgdon, Kendra Yale Hodgdon, Jordanna Howe (Daniel) and Hailey Catherman; his great grandchildren, Easton Jones and Gunner Howe; and his siblings, John Tribut (Carol) and Mary Ellen Johnson.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Flintstone Fire Department.
