He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Keister and Elizabeth Keister (Hamilton); his son Steven Keister; and his siblings, Harry, Robert Keister, Mary Morgan, Doris Morgan and Janice Vought.
He is survived by: his wife Ora Mae Keister (McKenzie); his sons, Ronald Keister, Jr. (Gail), John Keister (Wendy Sipple) and Charles Keister; his siblings, James Keister (Gloria) of Carlos, MD, Neil Keister (Nancy) of Carlos, MD and Elaine Resh (Bob) of Warren, OH; and his grandchildren, Thomas (Heidi), Michael (Jamie), Ronald, Jr. (Danielle), Emily (Anthony Testa) and Nicole (Richard Whetzel). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
