He was predeceased by: his parents, McCollogh Stieringer and Lena Stieringer (Leatherman); his daughter Theresa Louise; and his siblings, Clifford, McCullogh, Jr., Maravene, Maxine Mills, Mildred Clemmen, Wilhelmina Taylor and Vera Ellen Day.
He is survived by: his wife Cleo Frances Stieringer (Wolfe); his children, Matthew B. Stieringer (Donna) of Grantsville, MD and Katrina King of Morgantown, WV; and his grandchildren, Matthew Stieringer, III, Jeremy King, Justin King, Julian King, Amanda Stieringer and Tiffany Baird. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
