Marion Elizabeth Boettner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marion Elizabeth Boettner of Frostburg, Maryland, born in Lonaconing, Maryland, who passed away on February 28, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hadley and Marion "Dot" Hadley; her husband Robert Stafford; her grandson Jimi McDonald; her son-in-law Richard "Mac" McDonald (Roy Boettner); and her daughter Teri Boettner Ruppenkamp.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy McGowan (Michael), Marion McDonald, Betsy Green (Kenny), Bobby Stafford, Harry Stafford (Beverly) and Keith Boettner (Melanie); her siblings, Dr. Harry Hadley (Arlene) and Caroline Sagal (Paul); and her grandchildren, Julie Hoffman (Matt), Mickie McGowan, Jill Hartsfield (Harry Hickle), Amy VanMeter (Jason), Sarah Rosenberger (Shane), Elizabeth Simmons (Asa), Ashley Pomeroy (Jeremy), Nick Green (Hollie) and Natalie Green. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren and many, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Egle Nursing Home recreational activities fund or to Dawson United Methodist Church, Rawlings Maryland.
