She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Yates and Elsie Yates (Perdue); her husband Ralph G. Ritchie; her granddaughter Carlie Jo Ritchie; and her brothers, Chester and David Yates.

She is survived by: her sons, Ralph D. "Denny" Ritchie (Karen Lynn), Wayne Douglas Ritchie (Connie) and Dean Allan Ritchie (Theresa); her grandchildren, Denise Murphy, Jennifer Price, Jody Ritchie, Marty Ritchie and Scott Ritchie; and her great grandchildren, Holden Ritchie, Meghan Murphy, Brianna Murphy, Destiny Ritchie, Sophia, Luke Ritchie, Leah, Zoey Ritchie and Ella Nizer.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Vale Summit United Methodist Church.
