With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret R. Whitehead (Frostburg, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Carter and Sarah Carter (Miller); her husband Dale; her son Brian; and her siblings, Joseph Carter, Rosemary (Shockey), Sally (Tuscanco), John Carter, Ann (Martirano), Tom Carter and Jimmy.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Spence (Jarret), Michael Whitehead (Lindsay) and Lorri Mellon (Jeff); her grandchildren, Cameron Spence (Hannah), Abigail Wetzel (Josh), Ryan Whitehead, Taylor Whitehead and Whitney Richard; her great grandchild Aidan Spence; and her sister Mary Lou Dickel. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
