With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karl Emory Bittner of Frostburg, Maryland, born in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 7, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bittner and Rosella Bittner (Steinly); his wife Donna Jean Bittner; and his brother Paul Bittner. He is survived by: his children, Mark Bittner (Debbie), Dwayne Bittner (Pam) and Lori Miller (Jim); his sister Doris Elliott (Dan); his grandchildren, Sarah O'Neal (John), Jeremy Bittner, Tyler Miller (Erika), Kelsey Malone (Cody) and Kendra Miller; and his great grandchildren, Henson Kai Miller, Kolson Kyler Malone and Ridleigh Anora Miller.

Donations may be made in honor of Karl to the Ali Ghan Shrine Shepherd Unit, 13100 Ali Ghan Road NE, Cumberland MD 21532.
