He is survived by: his wife Carol Garlitz; his children, Jodie Garlitz, Dawn Benson (William) and Michael Flanagan of Augusta, WV; his brother Donald "Duck" Smith of Willowick, OH.; his grandchildren, Shawn Browning (Autumn), Jeremy Benson (Allyson), Tanner Benson, Timmy Flanagan and Leslie Kesner; his great grandchildren, Kaleb Furstenberg, Jacob, Allyssa Browning, Lily, Carlee and Daviegh Kesner; and his close friends, Arnett Jackson and Danny Muir.
