James R. Glass Obituary
In loving memory of James R. Glass (Frostburg, Maryland), who departed this world on December 26, 2024 at the age of 84. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Glass and Erma Glass (Johns); his daughter Amanda Glass; and his siblings, Joseph Glass, Darrel "Hut" Glass and Myra "Sissy" Nolan.
He is survived by: his wife Doris; his brother Charles "Sonny" Glass; his children, James Glass (Alan Kleinfeld), Angela Hill (Sean Hill) and Dayton; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Gabriella, Isaiah and Abigail. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Durst Funeral Home (57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, MD 21532). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Apostolic Lighthouse Church in his honor, continuing his mission to spread God's love.
