He was predeceased by: his mother Jane Michaels (Urbas); and his sister Mary Jane Michaels. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin J. Michaels (Hope), Gavin "Shorty" Michaels (Barbie), Brandon S. Michaels (Jennifer Portmess) and Jedadiah Michaels (Tara); his grandchildren, Bryce Bryer Michaels, Caden Michaels and Mika "Catfish" Valentine; his sister Barbara Vizza; his cousin John Urbas; and his close friends, Dave "Tiger" Norris and Larry Goldizen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
