He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Shoemake and Elizabeth Shoemake (Lemmert); and his half-sisters, Anna Jean Souders and Sally Godlowski. He is survived by: his wife Judith Shoemake (Hopkins); his children, Edgar Shoemake 3rd (Donna) of Fort Ashby, WV and Jamie Hamilton-Rumer (Wes Rumer) of Grantsville; his sister Mary Luo Minnick of Frederick, MD; and his special brother-law William Hopkins (Kathy) of Oil City, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
