She was predeceased by: her parents, Britt Buckalew and Mary Buckalew (Hansel); her husband Robert Morgan Layman; her son Thomas Lynn Layman; and her siblings, John Phillip Buckalew, James O. Buckalew, Rose Mary McMillan, Sara Ruth Kesner and Margret Colleen Colmer.
She is survived by: her children, Norma Haker and Robert J. Layman; her daughter-in-law Kelli Layman; her grandchildren, Lisa Bowman (Jon) and Korey Layman; and her great grandchildren, Nathan, Lilianna, Joshua and Violet. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
