She was predeceased by: her parents, Adeline Rhodes and Monroe Rhodes; her son Melvin "Sonny" Rhode; her sister Shirley; her brother-in-law Rick Rice; and her brothers, Harry Barrick and Richard Barrick (Janeen).

She is survived by: her cousins, James, Melissa Farrell of Frostburg, Deb, Donnie Miller II of Mt. Savage, Lou, Rebecca, Stephanie Nigh of Mt. Savage, Tracey Smith of Mt. Savage, Sherry and Eric Riggs of Mt. Savage; her close friend Kathy; and also Leo Mills. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
