It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Lavin (Frostburg, Maryland), who passed away on December 8, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Darlene Lavin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Bittner and Iola Bittner; her husband Dale; and her siblings, Mary Stott, Harold and Jarold Bittner.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas B. Lavin (Jada) of Fairplay, MD and Terry P. Lavin (Danielle) of Dothan, AL; her granddaughters, Peyton, Cassidy and Teylor Lavin; and her sister Carol Klink. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and relatives.
Due to revised COVID safety guidelines, traditional viewing services will not be held and a funeral service of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the immediate family in Eckhart Cemetery conducted by Sowers Funeral Home P. A., Frostburg with Pastor David Sandvick officiating.
