She was predeceased by: her parents, William M. Joyce and C. Naomi Joyce (Cain); and her husband James L. Minick. She is survived by: her children, Christopher J. Minick (Lisa) of Lutherville, MD and Debra Franklin (John) of Lutherville; her sisters, Naomi Smith of Baton Rouge, LA and Patricia Lewis of Eckhart, MD; her siblings-in-law, Mary Margaret Shockey of Johnstown, PA, Lillian Konetzka of Bloomington, IN, Cecelia Sandifer of Culpepper, VA, Virginia Hostetler of Finzel, MD, Judith Hummel of Urbana, IL, Rose Hutzell of Meyersdale, PA, Ray Sandifer, Blaine Hostetler, John Hummel and Rodger Hutzell; and her grandchildren, Thomas Franklin, Erin Minick and Joshua Minick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
