He was predeceased by: his friend Friendsville, MD; and his parents, William Okey and Helen Louise Friend (Fazenbaker). He is survived by: his close friend LuAnn Savage; his children, Steven Allen Friend of Friendsville, Justin Allen Friend of Friendsville, Lewis Okey Friend of Friendsville, Melody Ann Friend (Robert) of Hazelton, WV and Helen Louise Friend (Patrick); his brothers, Charles Reuben Friend (Monika) of Friendsville, Carl Nathan Friend (Kayla) of Friendsville and John Eric Friend of Confluence, PA; and his grandchildren, Parker Okey Funk, Casi Ann Funk and Tobias Steven Leonard Kight.
