He is survived by: his children, Melvin Michaels (Kelly) and Rebecca Younkin (Charles); and his siblings, Samuel Michaels of Fort Worth, TX, Donald Michaels, Earl Michaels and Mae Sines of Oakland. He is also survived by four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
