He is survived by: his wife Sherry Ann Ross (Detrick); his children, John L. Ross, III (Andrea) of Ashland, OH and Janna L. Ross of Mansfield, OH; his siblings, Claude L. Ross (Mary Ellen) of Charlotte, NC, James F. Ross (Tina) of Rock Hill, SC, Mary Deaver of Charlotte, NC and Lois Couick (Lee) of Edgemore, SC; and his grandchildren, Jazymn Ross, Lorinda, Ross, Reuben Ross, Luke Aaron Ross and Hannah Ross (Matthew Ross). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
