We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2025, at the age of 72, John Jeffrey Squires Sr. of Friendsville, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Squires and Margaret "Peggy" Squires (Mead); and his brother Larry Squires. He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Squires (Rasmussen); his sons, Jeff Squires (Betsy) of Cockeysville, MD and Kevin Squires (Cassi) of Kissimmee, FL; his siblings, Dwight Squires of Locust Grove, VA and Linda Squires of Newtown, PA; and his grandchildren, Josh, Katelyn, Meka, Medina, Grant and Jackson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blooming Rose United Methodist Church (3443 Blooming Rose Rd, Friendsville, MD 21531).
