With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Richard Artice of Friendsville, Maryland, born in Oakland, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2024 at the age of 67. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark William and Audrey Mae Artice (Gibbs); and his brothers, Danny Artice and Walt Artice. He is survived by: his wife Judy Lea Artice (Hoover); his children, Derek Artice (Magan) and Kola Artice; his siblings, Terry Artice, Tony Artice, Ronnie Artice and Chris Sines; and his grandchildren, Connor Artice, Brooklyn Bowman, Nevaeh Artice and Alexis Bowman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
