It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas Klotz (Friendsville, Maryland), born in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 3, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell John and Thelma Lucille Klotz (Glotfelty). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Klotz (McKenzie); his children, Rebecca Hauser (Wade), Timothy Klotz (Amanda) and Angela Savage; his grandchildren, Warren Wright, Wyatt Wright, Mariah Klotz, Haley Klotz, Timothy Klotz, Alexis Savage and Walker Savage; his sisters, Barbara Hinebaugh (Dale), Connie Savage (Gary), Annette Keller and Lori Peck (Jeff); his mother-in-law Doris McKenzie; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Fratz (Bill) and Rodney McKenzie; and his pets, Windy, Rainy and Patches. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“Bonnie and family, i regret i could not be there today due to the delayed school closing. I am sorry for your loss and you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Doug was a good person and neighbor. He always seemed to be in a good disposition and was very friendly. He showed true concern for others and was kind. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. We appreciate all he did for us.
