The passing of Dale Eugene Coddington of Friendsville, Maryland, born in Friendsville, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 13, 2024 at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Delano and Shirley Ramona Coddington (Gibbs); his brothers, Elwood Lee Coddington and Gary Phillippi; and his son Steven Louis Coddington.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine V. Coddington (Smearman); his children, Jason Allen Coddington, Jared Tucker Coddington and Sarah Meyers (Chris); his sisters, Sandy Ross (Ed) and Cindy Fisher (Rick); his grandchildren, Jason Jr., Ivy, Aleeyah, Louis, Tiffany, Shelby and Todd; and his pets, Gizmo and Zorro.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Friendsville Town Park.
